Developed for CNN, the series tracks the history of late night television from its inception, through Carson, Leno, Letterman, O'Brien, Fallon, Kimmel, Stewart and Colbert, lifting the curtain on the moments where late night took on politics, pop culture and entertainment.
I designed and animated the graphics package: title treatment, episodic graphics and the archival framing system that holds seventy years of footage together.

Decades of different broadcast looks had to sit inside one design. The package uses a neutral, slightly nostalgic frame so each era can keep its own texture.
