Brut

The mission: To share the wines sommeliers were really drinking after work with people in other industries: wonderful wines from small producers, native grapes and interesting places around the world.

We make wine approachable & available, helping you understand, taste & access the very best producers through events, consulting, our bottle shop and curated monthly packs. Whether you’re looking for a bottle for dinner, a monthly subscription or a cellar overhaul we can help. All wines are sustainable, organic, biodynamic and natural and none are available at the LCBO.

If you love sourdough bread,
unpasteurized cheese, slow food and knowing your makers, Brut wines are for you.

CANDOR

The challenge with CANDOR was a subdivision of a major medical marijuana company. Candor is their consumer-facing division which will be sold in stores across Canada when the government run stores open up. The company wanted to create an consumer line, starting with their two main strains. These strains will be available in a variety of applications like nugs, prerolls, tinctures as well as edibles. Their ask was to create a wordmark as well as packaging.

Because the company wanted to appeal to young professionals, I decided to stay away from the classic weed/stoner imagery.

We used clean typographic treatments, a mature illustration approach and photography of marijuana from an electron microscope to provide various directions that would tell the CANDOR story and speak to the target audience.

Dandelion

“We believe that marketing should be easier, even when the technology gets complicated. If you have a panache for making the complex simple, we want you on our team.

We’re a new breed of partner, led by our values; Bias Action, Take Ownership, Make a Promise and Keep a Promise.

These words are a part of our mantra, what we bring to every engagement and every interaction, each day.”

Daredevil

An event to celebrate the premiere of the new season of Daredevil.

Fleshing out this event was incredibly fun. We created silk screened posters, fake newspapers and various other set-dec and marketing material. We also designed event itself to feel as though the audience was in Hells Kitchen at Daredevil's church in the aftermath of something violent going down.
